The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) welcomed Rosen Shingle Creek hotel in Orlando to the Florida Green Lodging Program on November 15, 2007. The hotel is the 12th designated Florida Green Lodge in Orange County and 44th for the state.

Rosen Centre Hotel
On November 29th 2007, The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) welcomed the Rosen Centre Hotel, located in Orlando, to the Florida Green Lodging program. The Rosen Centre is the 57th in the state to be designated in the Florida Green Lodging Program, a voluntary state initiative that provides the lodging industry with technical assistance, encouraging hotels and motels to adopt cost-saving "green" practices that reduce waste and conserve natural resources.

Rosen Plaza Hotel
Rosen Plaza is among the first hotels in Central Florida to achieve Two Palm status in the Florida Department of Environmental Protection�s Green Lodging Program (along with its two sister convention properties), and is among only 11 total Two Palm hotels in the state of Florida. Rosen Plaza was among the first 50 properties � the top one percent in Florida � to receive One Palm designation in 2007. The newly achieved Two Palm designation certifies that the hotel has increased energy conservation and pollution prevention measures since their One Palm certification just over a year ago.
